Lumut Balai Unit 2 Geothermal Power Plant Fully Operational, PGE Adds 55 MW Toward 1 GW Target PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) has successfully achieved a key milestone in the operationalization of the Lumut Balai Unit 2 Geothermal Power Plant, with a capacity of 55 megawatts (MW). Following the successful of a 72-hour continuous Unit Rated Capacity (URC) test and the issuance of the Commissioning Certificate (Sertifikat Laik Operasi/SLO) on 29 June 2025, the plant is now fully operational and supplying electricity to the national grid. With this achievement, PGE now manages a total installed capacity of 727.5 MW across six operational areas. ...more
